This was the debut single for Ironik, who is a DJ and producer from London.

Ironik wrote this for his younger sister, fueled by his fear for her growing up in a society rife with knife crime and violence.

The heavily pitch shifted sampled chorus comes from a Westlife album track "Written In The Stars" from their 2002 Unbreakable-The Greatest Hits Vol. 1 album. The single also commences with a pitch shifted snatch of Rozalla's 1991 dance classic, "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)."
