This is about having a one-night stand with someone who you would, deep down, like to see more of. The Get Up Kids' bassist, Rob Pope, told Beat Magazine the song is about "hanging out with a girl on tour then not being able to hang out with her anymore; it's kind of a kiss-off really."
The title for this song came from a quote in Pee-wee's Big Adventure, a 1985 film directed by Tim Burton.
