Frontman Tom DeLonge told Digital Spy that this song reminds him of The Clash. "I try to be like my heroes," he said. "I don't really think about people buying it - I mean, I do a little bit. But I'm just trying to be as cool as the people I think are cool. When I get somewhere near that world, I'm like a little fanboy. It's so juvenile [laughs], but that's just how I'm wired."
