TIMEZONE

A time zone is a region on Earth that has a uniform standard time for legal, commercial, and social purposes. Our planet is divided into 24 time zones, each covering 15 degrees of longitude. Here, Måneskin singer Damiano David is on a tour bus, several time zones away from his girlfriend. He's distraught at being separated from his lover. "The dark side of stardom has to be told because people don't really know how hard it is," David told the BBC.

As the song progresses, David decides his lover is more important to him than his music career. As his touring keeps him away from his sweetheart, he forsakes his contracts and comes home for good. "Sometimes it's very hard to say no to things, but lately, we're talking more about it between us, and we're getting better," he reflected to the BBC.

Måneskin wrote "Timezone" with American songwriter Justin Tranter (Justin Bieber's "Sorry," Selena Gomez' "Lose You to Love Me"), Swedish producer Rami Yacoub (Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time," Ariana Grande's "One Last Time") and Danish songwriter and producer Sylvester "Sly" Sivertsen (The Chainsmokers' "Side Effects," Dua Lipa's "We're Good"). Yacoub also helped Måneskin write their "The Loneliest" and "Supermodel" singles - the latter with Sly.
