"Pick It Up" is one of seven tracks on What Makes You Country that Luke Bryan co-wrote. He told Taste of Country the lyrics are about his kids. "I've got a song on there that talks about my relationship with my boys, giving them some life lessons and stuff," he said. "It's a feel-good song." Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline have two sons, Thomas "Bo" Bryan, born March 18, 2008 and Tatum "Tate" Bryan, born August 11, 2010.
