BTS celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut single album, 2 Cool 4 Skool, on June 12, 2023. Their longtime label, Big Hit Music, honored this momentous occasion by releasing "Take Two" on June 9, 2023. "Take Two" incorporates vocals from all seven members of BTS, despite Jin and J-Hope both serving their mandatory military service at the time of its release. Pre-recorded vocals made this possible.
As the song unfolds, the first verse finds Jung Kook reaching out to the ARMY, urging them to stay by their side as they venture into the future. With genuine sincerity, he thanks the fans for the immeasurable comfort and solace they provide, especially when the relentless passage of time threatens to sweep them away.
