Here, vocalist Rou Reynolds addresses the danger of social media: He told The Independent: "You're constantly being barraged with stuff that's already in your circle, and your views are emboldened because you only see other people agreeing with you."

Reynolds proclaims his anger over the enormity of the British public's decision to leave the EU, which he blames on social media. He told Kerrang: "It's like social media is the most conservative than its nature, because you have your friendship and you have your political circles, and have to go looking for new ideas, new philosophies, old to be challenged intellectually: it breeds a new level of tribalism which we see online, and in comments or on Twitter, and then that plays out in the real world. So it's the frustration about that and just wanting to remind people, and make sure we all try and avoid those moments we're stuck within one frame, one sort of perspective, just to push ourselves and to engage. A lot of it was Brexit-inspired."

An animated video directed by long-time Enter Shikari fan Max Graur, was released for the track in April 2018. Graur had previously impressed the band with his work on the animated clip for "There's A Price On Your Head." "Unfortunately the sentiment of this track still stands, more than 12 months after I wrote it," Rou Reynolds said. "If anything, the atmosphere is worse than it was then. an increasingly hostile right-wing media acting as a megaphone for what we now know were exaggerations and outright lies, amplified by fake bot accounts on Twitter, reinforcing the prejudices of the ill-informed. It's got a big chorus, though."
