Anderson East co-wrote this song with Chris Stapleton after his producer Dave Cobb brought the singer-songwriter into the studio so the two could meet. The pair hit it off and penned "Quit You" after they got talking about the film Dirty Dancing. East told Clash magazine the song is "alllll about love."
