This was the lead single from Brooklyn-based indie rock band Dirty Projectors' first album for Domino Records, Bitte Orca.
On this song, guitarist Amber Coffman sings about the fear and comfort of settling down.
Dirty Projectors' previous releases would all be filed in the experimental tray. However this pop-confection has surprised many reviewers stylistically. Singer/guitarist Dave Longstreth told Billboard magazine "I've never identified with that idea of 'experimental.' I like music that takes risks and tries new things. But I like music that is assured and resolved too."
