This is a track from the second Sublime with Rome album, Sirens. At this point, the only original Sublime member was bass player Eric Wilson, as Bud Gaugh had left the group, replaced by Josh Freese. The song finds Rome Ramirez singing about getting back to a more passionate time in a relationship - back when they used to break down walls and run through fire. Sure, there was a touch of jealousy, but it was worth the payoff.
The video tells the story of a cage fighter who pays the bills by working as a janitor. His girlfriend, who we find out is pregnant, has some issues with his lifestyle. Footage was shot in a Los Angeles warehouse. In our interview with Eric Wilson, he talked about the storyline: "They live in poverty, and he goes to fight to make some money. We have a chain-link fence behind us and a bunch of people - it looks like we're in an underground fighting place."
The album was produced by Paul Leary, who worked on Sublime's breakout self-titled album, which was released in 1996.
