This empowering anthem was penned by songwriter Jack Knight (Diddy, Jennifer Lopez) with Matisyahu in mind. "It was kind of undeniable," Matisyahu told Billboard magazine. "It just felt right."
The song was sparked by the schoolyard bullying that Knight's daughter was struggling with, a feeling the musician felt a younger generation could connect with. Matisyahu told Billboard magazine that he'd dedicated the song to his son, Shalom. "I think that it resonates strong with kids," he said.
