The first single from Chase and Status' third album marks a change in a direction for the British Electronic music production duo by giving a nod to the early '90s rave era that inspired them. It was premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show on April 25, 2013 and released on June 30, 2013, the day after Chase & Status headlined the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
Always looking to support unknown and underground talent, Chase and Status recruited Brighton-based newcomer Louis M^ttrs to record the song's vocals. Other acts that the duo have used as guest singers at the beginning of their careers include Maverick Sabre, Delilah and Liam Bailey.
Chase & Status revealed to Q magazine that the song was inspired by Massive Attack's 1991 single "Unfinished Sympathy."
