The Big Unknown (From "Widows")

Sade wrote and performed this song for the heist movie Widows. The film, based on a BBC drama, tells the story of four women who attempt a robbery in order to pay the debts of their late criminal husbands.

Sade wrote "The Big Unknown" specifically for the movie's final scene. Director Steve McQueen had a series of conversations with the singer and asked her to write a song about loss and survival. She then penned the tune with her guitarist, Ben Travers.
