This was written and recorded by Bob Seger for his Against The Wind album. Released as the third single, it peaked at #14 on the Hot 100.

The song features organ, synthesizer and piano played by Little Feat co-founder Bill Payne. As well as being Little Feat's pianist, Payne is a sought-after studio musician who has also recorded with The Doobie Brothers and many other bands The keyboardist is considered to be one of the finest American piano rock and blues music artists, who is especially noted for his trademark barrelhouse blues piano.

Kid Rock sampled this for the acoustic intro of "Amen," a track from his Rock and Roll Jesus album.
