SUGA's Interlude

Suga is Min Yoongi (performing name Suga) from the K-Pop group BTS. This song is an introspective rumination where Halsey and Suga reflect on their newfound difficulties now that they've achieved their goals.

Over ambient synths, Halsey reflects on her inner struggle now that her dreams are reality. I've been trying all my life To separate the time in between the having it all and giving it up I wonder what's in store if I don't love it anymore Halsey is now torn between two worlds. The fantasy of achieving her material goals bought her more happiness than the actual fulfillment of her dreams.

Suga spits his rhymes in his native Korean. A translation of some of his lyrics into English reads: Though I, full of dreams, grew to achieve all my dreams I live out my days with the parallel belief that dreams are in fact better when just kept as dreams That my leap would not be my fall I trust that your convictions, efforts, faith, and greed are not filthy things
