M.O is an English girl band consisting of Annie Ashcroft, Frankee Connolly, and Nadine Samuels. The group's name originated from a lyric in Drake's "The Motto" ("That's my M.O add a B to that") and is short for Modus Operandi.
This song was released as a digital download on May 20, 2016 and became the trio's first UK Top 40 hit. Frankee Connolly had previously reached #7 with "Left My Heart In Tokyo" in 2009, when she was one half of the duo Mini Viva.
The track was written by with the M.O. trio along with Ferdy Unger Hamilton, Nicholas Listrani, Ryan Sudlow, and Stephen and Fred Gibson. The girls told Sugarscape about the song: "'Who Do You Think Of?' was inspired by old school songs like Ne-Yo's 'Do You' and Chingy and Tyrese's 'Pullin' Me Back.' It's relatable for anyone who's been back and forth in a relationship, it's asking who you're missing."
