On "Stargazing," Myles Smith sings of feeling destined to be with his romantic interest. When they're together, he's completely absorbed in a beautiful moment with her, just like we get lost in the beauty of the night sky.
Smith got the inspiration for "Stargazing" while hanging out in LA. "I love the idea that the person we fall in love with has been there our whole life," he said.
Smith didn't craft the song alone. He teamed up with Peter Fenn, who not only produced the track but also laid down all the instruments himself: piano, drums, keyboards, guitar, the whole shebang. Jesse Fink, a New York songwriter with credits on John Legend's "Conversations in the Dark," Justus Bennetts' "Bad Day" and Artemas' "I Like the Way You Kiss Me," also helped write the song.
