Archy Marshall, aka King Krule, became a father for the first time when Marina Marshall was born to him and photographer Charlotte on March 14, 2019. Though Marshall is enjoying family life, this is a desperate love song. It begins with a recording of a ringing phone going to voicemail - Marshall trying to reach someone who is clearly not there or not picking up. What follows are his fears of struggling with dark thoughts when he's not with them.
