Rhett recalled during a media listening event. "From the first time we started writing this song, it was just like, 'I don't know what to call it, but it's my take on a Marvin Gaye-meets-Barry Manilow kind of thing.' I love that soul, R&B feel in music that just - when it comes on, whether you're on a boat or driving in a car... it just feels good, and I think I'm in the business of making people try to feel good."
