This was the first single taken from Morrissey's 2009 album Years of Refusal. Morrissey and his guitarist, musical director and frequent writing partner Boz Boorer penned this number.
Like many of Morrissey's songs, lyrically the song's message concerns the former Smiths singer's inability to find love. At the end of the song he cries: "Nobody wants my love!"
When Morrissey first performed this at a Jacksonville, Florida show during his 'Greatest Hits Tour,' it was initially reported to be titled "Wrapping My Arms Around Paris Hilton."
