Khalid is one of those work-orientated guys who can't relax until he gets everything done. The singer gets so locked into his job he goes into autopilot and just doesn't stop. "I'd rather be busy than free all the time," he explained. "When you're free, that's when you get bored easily. I hate being bored."
Khalid described "Hundred" as "the soundtrack of my life" during an Apple Music Track by Track. He explained: "When I'm in the mix of everything, I'm on autopilot and I can't stop. I swear I could get into car crash after car crash, I'm making my way through wherever I got to go and I'm getting the job done. I hate canceling anything. I performed shows sick. If I gotta walk onstage with a broken foot, I'm going to do it. Keep it a hundred. I got a hundred things I got to do."
