The Little Mix quartet are trying to get over their lost loves by spending the night a club. As long as the music is loud, they can forget about their pesky exes and pretend for a few hours that everything is still alright. That is why they plead to the DJ, "I'm begging please don't play no more sad songs."
The song was written by: American singer-songwriter Emily Warren, who co-wrote the Chainsmokers' hit "Don't Let Me Down." Ukrainian born and Australian raised singer-songwriter Tash Phillips, who first gained notoriety in her early teen years as an actress on the Australian children's drama series Castaway. Her other song writing credits include Tori Kelly's Unbreakable Smile track "Expensive."
The song was produced by Norwegian duo Electric, who also worked with Little Mix on their "Black Magic" and "Shout Out To My Ex" UK #1 singles.
