Travis Scott kicks off this trap banger by outlining his exit strategy. Twelve-figure estate plan, that was the escape plan But hate investigatin', that s--t was a waste, man He figures building up a multibillion dollar real estate portfolio requires too much hard work.
The rest of the song finds Scott discussing ungrateful women who take for granted the good life their wealthy beaus treat them to. Scott also references his Utopia chain, which is covered with diamonds. During the buildup to the Texan's Utopia album, various rappers, including Young Thug, Kid Cudi, Roddy Rich, and Gunna, have rocked the chain.
Scott first teased the song in an ad for Spotify on June 24, 2021. The next day, an extended version played during a Cactus Jack for Dior fashion show. He premiered the song live the following month during his performance at Rolling Loud in Miami. Scott released the full official studio version, alongside "Mafia," on November 5, 2021 on the eve of his headlining performance at Astroworld. That concert ended in tragedy after ten people died and about 300 injured following a crowd surge.
