This is about a reluctant and hesitant lover. Although Björk claims it is not specific to anyone, many believe it is about Goldie, the British "jungle" DJ whom Björk dated after breaking up with Tricky.
This song first appeared on Post tour setlists in 1995, originally titled "I Dare You." Björk didn't like the original arrangement, so she took it back into the studio and reworked it for "Homogenic."
