This song was co-written and produced by the team of Richard Stannard and Mike Rowe who also produced the Spice Girls' first two albums. It was their first release since the Double A-side "Holler"/ "Let Love Lead The Way" in 2000 and their first recording to feature the group's original lineup since Geri Halliwell left in 1998.
Stannard and Rowe wrote the song with the five group members. According to Stannard, the song is "about the headlines in your real life rather than your public persona; getting married, having kids."
This song was chosen to be the official 2007 BBC Children in Need single.
Geri Halliwell told the BBC breakfast show GMTV: "It's a Spice Girl classic. We are so proud of it. We started putting words down before we even had the finalized 'yes' from everyone."
