Released as a single from the Bonus Edition of Future Nostalgia, this song finds Dua Lipa flustered and feverish around a love interest.

"Fever" is a sultry dance-pop song with simmering synth-pop beats rather than the disco thumpers that make up many of the Future Nostalgia tracks.

Belgian singer-songwriter Angèle joins Dua Lipa on the track. She sings a couple of verses in French where she too is yearning over a guy who is making her hot and sweaty. Angèle Van Laeken broke out in 2018 in French when her single "Tout oublier," which features her brother Roméo Elvis, topped the Belgian and French charts. The accompanying album Broi also reached #1 in Belgium and France.
