Co-written by Conor Maynard with Craig David, this twist on the classic '90s garage sound was produced by Mojam (Sam Smith, Emeli Sande, Naughty Boy). The collaboration came about after David heard Maynard's cover of his 2000 track "Fill Me In" during his support slot on Jason Derulo's tour. Maynard explained to OfficialCharts.com: "Someone put the performance up on YouTube and Craig saw it and tweeted me… I fangirled pretty hard!" "A few weeks later these producers Mojam sent us this song Craig had written for me and I instantly loved it, so we set up a studio session with me and Craig to record it."

The song's music video was shot in Miami, Florida and features a cameo from David.
