Before The Storm – duet with Jonas Brothers (Live)

The brothers explained to the Australian radio show The Hot Hits: "This song was written after personal experiences that made us grow in the ways of love and relationships."

On this break-up song Nick Jonas duets with his former girlfriend, Miley Cyrus. Nick told MTV News that this is one of his favorite songs on Lines, Vines and Trying Times. He explained: "I think it's probably one of my favorite songs because it has a great story to it. It's a duet with Miley, which is great."

The song was originally intended for the Jonases' previous album, but didn't make the cut. Also it didn't originally include Miley until Nick saw it as an opportunity for the two of them to share their tale of young love with their fans.
