Pixie wrote this song with: English singer-songwriter Jim Irvin, who co-penned the 2004 hit "The Weekend" by Michael Gray, and also has had work recorded by Groove Armada, Gabrielle Aplin and David Guetta. Producer Rami Afuni, whose other credits include Kiesza's "Hideaway," Conor Maynard's "Headphones," Miley Cyrus' "FU" and LMFAO's "Take It to the Hole."
Asked by You magazine if her model boyfriend Oliver Cheshire minds her writing songs about breaking up like this one, Pixie replied: "I don't think he minds, because it makes great music; we are really strong." "I think real emotion makes a better song," she added. "I just love writing about tragedy and heartbreak."
The video for this ballad was directed by the actor Nick Bartlett, who is known for his roles in The 51st State and Gangs of New York. The clip sees Pixie and Oliver Cheshire break into London's Waldorf Hotel.
