Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Framed. By Songfacts®.

This track finds Eminem rapping about being detained for a murder, on the basis of how his grisly lyrics coincidentally match up with a killer's crime. She's unaware in no underwear, she's completely bare Turns around and screams, I remember distinctly I said "I'm here to do sink repairs." Chop her up, put her body parts In front of Steven Avery's trailer and leave 'em there Em's explicit rhymes of blood and terror harken back to earlier Slim Shady horrorcore material on songs like "Kim" and "3am."

The beat is courtesy of Palestinian-American record producer Fredwreck (Dr. Dre's "Medicine Man," Britney Spears' "Ooh Ooh Baby"). Speaking with Shade 45, Eminem commented on he ensured the song's lyrical content complimented the instrumentation: "Framed you needed to rap some evil, like serial killer kind of s--t to me, like that. The beat was so evil, I just had to say evil s--t, like f---ed up s--t. (…) That's one of my favorite beats ever."

Czech prog rock band C&K Vocal is sampled during the song. It uses the guitar riff from "Pilgrim," the opening track from their 1976 album Generation.
