Birgisson told The Sun July 4, 2008 why this was his first song sung in English: "It's something to do with my accent that I've never done it before - it sounds harsh. But I was pleased because it turned out really well. I was very worried about it but you have to let go. I do speak 50/50 Icelandic and English, because my boyfriend is English, as are my manager and people at my record label."
