Lead singer Danny Macnamara and his brother wrote this as the first song on Out Of Nothing, their comeback CD. They originally wrote the song without a drum beat as a soft piano ballad. Danny didn't like it, but eventually, after some fighting and swearing, the two brothers agreed to make the sound more upbeat.
