Swedish singer-songwriter Erik Hassle is best known for featuring on the English version of Stromrae's hit single "Alors On Danse" and co-writing Shakira and Rihanna's "Can't Remember To Forget You."

This mournful song finds Hassle unable to express his love for someone. Now living in Los Angeles, he penned the tune during a trip home to Sweden. "I was really in love with a girl but I couldn't communicate it to her, and I missed my chance there," he told Billboard magazine. "I knew I wasn't gonna get her, but I still had hope. The song is about feeling very happy and sad, like dancing and crying."
