The Hep Stars was a Swedish rock group formed in 1963 in Stockholm. They are best known as a launching point for the keyboard player and composer Benny Andersson, who went on to enjoy worldwide success with ABBA. Andersson started writing songs for Hep Stars after other Swedish bands that largely wrote their own material criticized them for using cover versions. This was the first song that he introduced to the group. Released as a single, it spent ten weeks in the Swedish Top Ten, a prelude to the massive success he was to enjoy with ABBA from the following decade.

This is the first song ever written by Benny Andersson; at the time he was keyboard player with a Swedish covers band the Hep Stars. As band member Svenne Hedlund explained in the December 2013 BBC documentary The Joy Of ABBA, at that time they kept receiving requests from fans to write their own material.

This rather short track - just over a minute and a half - was released on Olga Records and also the Dunhill label, and was published by Great Honesty Music. It was backed by "Rented Tuxedo."
