This song was released as both a 7-inch and 12-inch single. It is Phil Lynott's personal tribute to Elvis Presley, and features Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits on guitar.
This was Lynott's second solo single, following "Dear Miss Lonely Hearts." He was still making music with his band, Thin Lizzy, at the time.
