Stir It Up - From "Beverly Hills Cop" Soundtrack

This was the second single that Patti LaBelle performed for the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack, and it has a similar theme to the first one, "New Attitude." The song is about a woman in circumstances that aren't so great, yet she's going to get out and make good things happen. A New Attitude can do that for a person.

LaBelle recorded a new version with Joss Stone for the soundtrack of the 2005 Disney movie Chicken Little.
