The song was released on April 16, 2013 by Interscope Records as a promotional single on iTunes in the lead-up to release of #willpower. It debuted at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Cyrus' first single to chart on the Hot 100 since her 2010 single "Can't Be Tamed."
