Lucy Rose began work on her No Words Left album doing a period she describes as the worst of her life. She described it to Q magazine as a period of questioning everything around her as she prepares to turn 30. "It's just life really," the singer explained matter-of-factly, "the things we all go through, whether it's learning how to be in a committed relationship or life questions about what's next."
Rose has no memory of recording the piano part of this ballad, a track she told Q magazine helped get her mental state back on track. "That is a song that gets me," she said. "Somehow I understood myself better after that."
