This song was written by Billy Steinberg, Josh Alexander, and Jessica and Lisa Origliasso. The Origliasso's are Australian twins who record as The Veronicas. Steinberg is a prominent lyricist who, along with Tom Kelly, has written many hit songs, including the Bangles "Eternal Flame" and Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors."
