Real Life is an Australian New Wave band fronted by David Sterry, and also including Alan Johnson and Danny Simcic. This song was their first single and their breakout hit, helped by its video, which featured a medieval theme. Real Life's next single, "Catch Me I'm Falling" hit #40 in the US, and they had a minor hit with their third single, "Face To Face."
The group released a new version in 1989 as "Send Me An Angel '89." This time, it hit #26 in the US.
