Jessie wrote this rock-influenced number with Atlanta-based Turkish-American record producer Oak for Chris Brown. The American R&B singer recorded it for the deluxe version of his 2009 album, Graffiti. The English singer explained to The Sun: " I decided to put this on the album as I thought it was nice to show my version of a song that has already been used by Chris Brown."
Jessie explained the song's meaning to The Sun: " I wrote it about my life going from normal to not so normal and how I needed my friends and family to understand that I needed space to grow."
