When this vampire has her teeth on Noah Cunane's neck, he doesn't mind at all. The song is a about a party girl who only shows up at night (usually in the clubs), and is never seen in the daylight. After spending time in China, Cunane moved to Los Angeles, then to New York City, and it was the NYC club scene that inspired this song. "It was one of the best times of my life but it definitely catches up to you," he said. "It always makes me smile when I listen to 'Vampire' just thinking about those nights dancing with random people at 4 a.m."
This song was released in September 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. Clubbing was out of the question at this time, so the video, directed by Axel Kabundji, was shot at a warehouse with appropriate social distancing.
