This uplifting power ballad finds Martina singing about a man providing emotional support for his wife who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The song was added to Country radio on July 26, 2011.
Nashville songwriter Ben Hayslip penned the song along with husband and wife singer/songwriters Sonya Isaacs and Jimmy Yeary. Sonya and Jimmy met in 2009 and got married after just a few months of dating. Their rapid romance was the inspiration behind Rascal Flatts' single, "Why Wait," which Yeary co-wrote with Tom Shapiro and Neil Thrasher. Other songs the couple have written with Hayslip include Heidi Newfield's single "Stay Up Late."
McBride has never had cancer, but wanted to sing the song to give hope and positive messages to those going through the struggle. She said it "takes a lot of strength and a lot of love to get through something like that."
