This RedOne-produced trance and dubstep influenced track was released as the second international single from R&B singer Kelly Rowland's third album, Here I Am. Rowland explained to The Boombox that the album title shows, "I'm very happy in the place that I am. I'm coming into my own - where I am in my life as a woman and as an artist. You can hear it."
The song was produced by frequent Lady Gaga collaborator RedOne with help of The WAVs and Jimmy Joker. The WAVs are also listed as featured artists and the DJ/production duo previously appeared on Enrique Iglesias's single, "I Like How It Feels."
