This moody and atmospheric tune finds Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye in a somber mood as he croons over acoustic guitars and a staccato drum pattern. Drake picks up the hook and provides a guest verse, in which the Toronto MC speaks about the love that he gets in his home city and simultaneously being a prince and a king.
It was Drake who first generated public awareness for Tesfaye when, back in 2011, The Weeknd's second-ever live show was part of the Toronto MC's annual OVO Festival. Drizzy also quoted a line from Tesfaye's "Wicked Games" tune on Twitter. The pair collaborated on a number of songs such as "The Zone," from the Weeknd's second mixtape, Thursday, as well as several tracks on Drake's Take Care album, including "Crew Love," "The Ride" and "Practice."
