Green Light

This is the second single by London-based grime music collective Roll Deep, from their fourth album, Winner Stays On. The song served as the follow-up to the group's chart-topper, "Good Times."

The phrase "green light" dates from the 1970s and means permission to proceed. The image is that of a green traffic light or railway signal, authorizing one to go ahead.

The members of the collective who contributed to this song are the crew's leader Wiley plus J2K, Breeze, Brazen and Scratchy. The female vocalist on the chorus is Tania Foster.
