BTS is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. The members are: Jin (born Kim Seok-jin) Suga (born Min Yoon-gi) J-Hope (born Jung Ho-seok) Rap Monster (born Kim Nam-joon) Jimin (born Park Ji-min) V (born Kim Tae-hyung) Jungkook (born Jeon Jeong-guk)
The group's name BTS is an acronym for the Korean expression Bangtan Sonyeondan, literally meaning "Bulletproof Boy Scouts." They later expanded its meaning to stand for "Beyond the Scene."
This trap-infused track was released as the lead single from BTS' fifth EP, Love Yourself: Her. The almost-all Korean-language song contains a flow of science references, which act as a metaphor for a romantic connection.
