Co-written by lead guitarist Giuliano Gizzi with vocalist Mark Rankin, "Better Days" was the first track on Gun's debut album Taking On The World, and was as good as it ever got for this talented Glasgow band. Running 4:33, it was produced by Kenny MacDonald and released as a single on AM Records in June 1989 backed by "When You Love Somebody."
