She was born Heather Frith in Bermuda, and spent most of her youth sailing the Caribbean with her parents. This resulted in a deep connection with the ocean. She has also lived in New York and London before moving back to Bermuda.
Heather studied film in New York and discovered her musical talents there during soundtrack recording. She moved to London where she focussed on a music career.
Felix Todd, the Scotsman who discovered Heather and helped her establish herself as an artist, is now her producer and long-term husband. Heather and Felix have a son named Sebastian who was born in 2004.
