The Red Clay Strays are a country-rock band from Mobile, Alabama. Their sound blends classic country, rockabilly, gospel-fed soul, and Delta blues influences.
Raised on Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings, lead singer Brandon Coleman initially played drums, then guitar amid the tiny congregation at the River of Life Church in Saraland, Alabama.
The seeds of The Red Clay Strays were sown in the heart of Mobile, Alabama, around 2015. What began as a typical cover band with Brandon Coleman on vocals and guitar, Andrew Bishop on bass, and Drew Nix handling bookings, would soon evolve into something much more.
